Announced for months, the Pankow "The Art of Gentle Revolution" boxset is now finally available just in time for the band’s 25th anniversary. This ultimate, full colour printed and silver-embossed boxset contains almost the complete regular works by Pankow. 4 albums ("Freiheit für die Sklaven" (1987), "Gisela" (1989), "Omne Animal Triste Post Coitum" (1990) and a re-worked version of "Treue Hunde" (1992)), produced by Adrian Sherwood, Rico Conning, Paul Kendall and more. All 4 albums come in specially re-designed digipaks with the original controversial artworks by H.R.Giger and Helnwein, plus the 80 pages book "Pankow – The Move" written by Alex Spalck, the singer of the band. Included as well is the bonus-CD "69sixtynine69", containing the tracks from the legendary "Marble box" bonus-12" of "Gisela", released in a numbered edition of 100 copies on Vinyl. While the first two albums come in re-mastered original Italian versions containing bonus-tracks, not included on the international versions, the third album (recorded live in the USA, East- and West Germany) appears un-altered. The band’s last album in the original line-up "Treue Hunde" has been partly re-mixed and the track listing has been changed. It contains an all new version of "Florence is Dead", a previously unreleased mix of the single "Stupidity", the much longer and better swingalong-version of the single "My Baby Can…". "Save your life" has been replaced by the 17 minutes long version of "Save My Life" taken from the deleted EP "My Baby Can…".
