Herr Helnwein, ich bewundere sowohl Ihre provokanten, als auch Ihre idyllischen Darstellungen. Da ich persönlich russischer Herkunft bin, würde es mich interessieren, ob Russland Sie in gewisser Weise zu Kunstwerken inspirieren könnte.

Je suis enchantée de votre collaboration avec MARILYN MANSON!!!
Que rêver de mieux?? Deux grands artists du 21ème siècle côte à côte, pour plus de divertissemnts, d'expressions, de vérités,.... d'ART!!!!
Vos travaux sont de vrais objets de facsination, de réflection, et d'émoi!
Il me tarde de pouvoir, je l'espère un jour, aller à l'une de vos expositions! Même si ceci n'est qu'un simple espoir d'une jeune fille de 17ans!! J'oserai espérer sa concrétisation, puisque vous êtes vous deux la source de mes espoirs!!! Puisque l'ART me fait rêver, me porte à la réflexion, m'inspire, me fascine, et m'aide à croire à cet autre monde que chacun se crée!!

That is Helnwein to me. It is gratifying to see that the 2 TRUE artists i admire most, Sean Penn & Gottfried Helnwein have and will collaberated together in the future.
Both strive to show the emotions many people try to lock away, and through these emotions, they unlock the truth.

I have stumbled across the works of so many artists online, none of them really speaking to me or having too much talent. I see you works and I gasp with amazement as to the uniqueness that you assert in your work, as if you were a sort of Anne Frank locked in an attic and this is your thoughts and feelings behind these so called "morbid" art.
Hats off to you and I wish to see more work.

wie schon so oft gesagt: wunderbar!
ich habe die ausstellung in hannover gesehen und bin fasziniert. besonders die speziellen mixed- media gemälde, aber auch die fotografien haben's mir angestan- buchstäblich.
ich bin ihnen dankbar für soviel abscheulichkeit und der damit verbundenen wahrheit.

Fabulosos trabajos plástico/estéticos. Es una maravillosa fuente de inspiración poética. Quizá la trangresión sublimada, en lo referente al tratamiento de la figura de los enfants, condicione opiniones favorables, por la proximidad al feismo. De cualquier forma, felicidades.!!

I'm interested...how did you come to work with Manson? You're art work seems to have more of a personal and political background. Manson comes off as being grotesque for the sake of being so...or am I wrong about that?

I was reading Gigers Taschen-auto-biography and found this unbelievable calm and yet too brutal picture 'die versuchung' and i wanted to see more of Mr. Helnwein's traditional works, since i just knew his photos and post-photo pictures.
And I am overwhelmed with the beauty, the horror and the pain... its just one inch before breakin...
