National Theatre of Scotland at the Traverse, Edinburgh
The National Theatre of Scotland and the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, present two shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year. The Wheel (image by Gottfried Helnwein) is an unnerving new play by Zinnie Harris (Further than the Furthest Thing), directed by National Theatre of Scotland Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone.
Set amid a world in conflict, The Wheel charts the journeys of a little girl looking for her father and the woman who has chosen to help her find him. The play asks us whether it is possible to travel through a world at war and remain unaffected.
The Wheel opens for early previews Thu 28 & Sat 30 July, then runs at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, from 6 – 28 Aug. (Not Mondays, times and ticket prices vary. Check Traverse Box Office for full details. Booking fees may apply.)
