The large-format drawings provide insight into the fascinating places where art was created and the creative environment of numerous artists, from Johanna Kandl to Gottfried Helnwein. The studios of some artists who have had exhibitions at the KubinHaus in recent years, such as Franz Blaas, Gerhard Brandl and Oliver Dorfer, also found their way into the series. After Xian Zheng got to know the Kubin House in Zwickledt, she supplemented the studios of her contemporaries with a view of Alfred Kubin's studio rooms, which are located in the same building.
